In the laboratory of the hospitals in Delft I did T-and B celltyping and and HLA typing, immunofluorescence and radio immuno assays.
During research in the LUMC we worked on enhanced reactivation of DNA repair-deficient cells. We also studied signaaltransduction pathways in DNA repair deficient fibroblasts. Therefor we used several techniques as: tissue culture, transfections, transductions, Western- and Northernblotting
The last 10 years I worked first in the lab of Prof M.van Lohuizen on the function of polycombproteins in breast, prostate and intestinal cancer. Later I participated in the lab of prof. D.Peeper and there we did research on skin cancer. Besides the techniques mentioned before we did also mini/maxipreps, immunohistochemistry, QPCR.
