My background is in theoretical mathematical statistics; I have just completed a PhD on Bayesian nonparametrics with prof. Aad van der Vaart at Leiden University. While this was a very theoretical subject, I am highly interested in neurobiology and genetics. My research focuses on the development of statistical tools for analyzing genetic data.
